See the partial solar eclipse and Perseids with Fordingbridge Astronomers

Everyone is invited to join the friendly Fordingbridge Astronomers at the recreation ground for an afternoon of solar viewing and evening spotting Perseid meteors. The highlight of the event is a partial solar eclipse, this where the Moon passes in front of the Sun, partially obscuring it. Special solar telescopes and solar glasses will be available to safely observe this incredible celestial event.
