Partial eclipse observing with Plymouth Astronomical Society

Join members of the Plymouth Astronomical Society at Jennycliff Car Park to safely enjoy the spectacular partial solar eclipse visible from Plymouth. The eclipse begins at 6:20 pm, reaches its maximum at 7:16 pm, and ends at 8:10 pm, offering a wonderful opportunity to watch the Moon cover much of the Sun as it sets over the horizon.

The event coincides with the opening night of the British Fireworks Championship, so Jennycliff is expected to be especially busy. Arriving from 6:00 pm is recommended to secure a parking space and a good viewing position before the eclipse begins.
