Dedham Dark Sky Event – Partial eclipse and Perseids meteors

Join the Dedham Vale National Landscape Dark Skies Campaign at Munnings Museum for an evening celebrating the partial solar eclipse and the wonders of the night sky. Observe the eclipse safely through specialist solar telescopes, with free eclipse glasses available while stocks last, before staying for astronomy talks and stargazing under the dark skies of Dedham Vale.

As darkness falls, experienced astronomers will guide visitors through views of star clusters, galaxies and the Perseid Meteor Shower using a range of telescopes. This free event is suitable for all ages, with parking available on site. Donations are welcome to support future events.
