Eclipse and Perseids viewing event with Vale Stargazing

Join Vale Stargazing at Lleweni Gliding Club for an evening of astronomy, beginning with safe viewing of the partial solar eclipse and continuing after dark with the chance to observe the annual Perseid Meteor Shower.

Experienced astronomers will be on hand with specialist equipment, while certified eclipse glasses, courtesy of Go Stargazing, will help visitors observe the eclipse safely.

This is a free event, but advance booking is essential as places are limited. The event runs from 5:00 pm until late and is weather permitting.
