Eclipse viewing at Lydd on Sea

Join Ashford Astronomical Society at Lydd-on-Sea for an evening of astronomy beginning with the partial solar eclipse. Meet from 5:30 pm near Kerton Road, where society members and fellow skywatchers will gather to enjoy this spectacular celestial event from the coast.

After the eclipse, the group plans to stop for food before continuing to Greatstone Beach to watch the Perseid Meteor Shower after dark. Visitors are advised to arrive by 6:00 pm to help secure a parking space. Weather permitting.
