Join Eddington Astronomy and Nature for a free community evening combining two spectacular celestial events. Watch the 90% partial solar eclipse using a camera obscura tent or eclipse glasses provided by Lumo Housing, before returning after dark to relax on the cricket pitch and watch the peak of the Perseid Meteor Shower.

A telescope will also be available for views of the Andromeda Galaxy, with refreshments provided by Durkan Homes. Bring something to lie on, warm clothing, snacks and drinks. All ages are welcome, and the event is weather dependent, so please check for updates before travelling.
