Informal solar eclipse observing with Abergavenny Astronomy Society

This is a relaxed and informal gathering for anyone who would like to come along and watch the partial solar eclipse in the company of others.

Experienced astronomers will be on hand with specially equipped solar telescopes, offering fantastic views of the eclipse and an opportunity to learn more about what’s happening as the Moon passes in front of the Sun.

There’s no formal programme — simply come along, enjoy the spectacle and share the experience with fellow eclipse watchers.
