Observe the solar eclipse at Moor Park

Join the friendly astronomers from the Preston and District Astronomical Society, in collaboration with the Jeremiah Horrocks Institute, for an evening observing the partial solar eclipse from Moor Park. Note that this event is not taking place at the observatory due to trees being in the way, see attached map for observing location. Special solar telescopes and solar glasses will be provided to observe this event safely with experts being on hand to answer questions. No booking required, this is a free event!
