Partial eclipse community get-together at Seascale Beach

Gather with the local community at Seascale Beach, near the jetty, to experience one of the UK's most spectacular astronomical events together. As the Moon slowly passes in front of the Sun, enjoy the wonder of a partial solar eclipse in the company of others at this relaxed, family-friendly event. Solar glasses provided by Go Stargazing will be available for people to observe the eclipse safely.

Everyone is welcome to attend on Wednesday 12 August, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Free parking and public toilets are available nearby. Bring a chair or picnic blanket, keep your fingers crossed for clear skies, and share this memorable evening by the sea.
