Partial eclipse observing at Broughty Castle

Join Mills Observatory at Broughty Castle for a special public viewing of the partial solar eclipse. With excellent views west along the River Tay, the castle grounds offer a much better vantage point than the observatory itself to witness up to 91.6% of the Sun being covered by the Moon.

Broughty Castle Museum and its grounds will remain open until 8:30 pm for the event. Certified eclipse glasses will be available to purchase from the Castle Shop while stocks last and are essential for safely viewing the eclipse.
