Join Bath Astronomers and Bath Preservation Trust at Beckford’s Tower on Wednesday 12 August for a special evening picnic to watch a partial solar eclipse.

From 6pm to 8:07pm, visitors can enjoy eclipse glasses, solar telescopes, hands-on family activities, and guidance from local astronomy experts while witnessing the Moon cover most of the Sun as seen from Bath.

Set in the beautiful Paddocks near Beckford’s Tower and the Grotto, this family-friendly event offers a unique opportunity to experience a rare celestial spectacle.
