Join the Flamsteed Astronomy Society at the Royal Observatory Greenwich for a special evening of safe solar observing and the partial solar eclipse. Beginning with a daytime solar observing session, visitors can then watch as up to 90% of the Sun is covered by the Moon, with society members on hand to explain the eclipse and answer questions.

The event takes place in the Dolphin Sundial area inside the Royal Observatory, so normal admission charges apply, although Flamsteed Astronomy Society members can attend as part of their museum membership. The event is weather dependent.
