See the partial eclipse at Rosse Observatory

Join West Yorkshire Astronomical Society at the Rosse Observatory for an evening packed with astronomy, beginning with the partial solar eclipse and continuing after dark for the peak of the Perseid Meteor Shower. Specialist solar telescopes and eclipse glasses will be available for safe viewing, with a live stream shown on a large screen if clouds prevent observing.

The neighbouring Grange community centre will also be open with refreshments, children's activities and a fun yoga session between the eclipse and meteor shower. The observatory opens at 6:00 pm and will remain open until late.
