Join Barry Astronomical Society at Friar's Point on Barry Island for a public viewing of the partial solar eclipse. Watch as more than 93% of the Sun is covered by the Moon while experienced astronomers provide safe views through specialist solar telescopes and binoculars, helping you experience one of the UK's most spectacular astronomical events in decades.

The event begins at 6:00 pm, with maximum eclipse at 7:13 pm. More than 400 pairs of certified eclipse glasses will be available free of charge, courtesy of Go Stargazing, while stocks last.
