Solar eclipse at Cheviot Tap

Join local stargazer Becki at Cheviot Tap for a relaxed evening combining the partial solar eclipse with food, drinks and astronomy. Becki will be on hand with a telescope, expert guidance and plenty of friendly astro-chat, with a live stream available if clouds prevent observing.

The evening begins at 6:00 pm, with eclipse viewing from 6:45 pm, followed by jacket potatoes and a talk about the Sun and the aurora. From 9:00 pm, stay on for informal night-sky observing.

Tickets cost £20 for adults and £10 for children aged 3–15, including a jacket potato and eclipse glasses.
