Solar eclipse viewing with Jersey Astronomy Club

Join Jersey Astronomy Club at Le Braye on St Ouen's Bay for a free public viewing of the partial solar eclipse. Club members will set up specialist solar telescopes near the slipway, giving visitors the opportunity to safely watch the Moon pass across the Sun from this spectacular coastal location.

The eclipse begins at 6:21 pm, reaches maximum at 7:17 pm and ends at 8:10 pm. Certified eclipse glasses will also be available, with experienced club members on hand to demonstrate safe solar observing and answer questions. Everyone is welcome, weather permitting.
